History
The McCloy Group began with Donald McCloy in 1961. Don started a local construction company, building commercial buildings, schools and hotels.
In 1976 Jeff McCloy joined his father Don in the family company and they worked together on many projects. Jeff took over the reins in 1986 and was responsible for the original construction of the $150 million John Hunter Hospital, which was delivered 12 months ahead of schedule.
During the 1990s the company diversified considerably. No longer a building firm the company now develops residential subdivisions, holds extensive Hunter based commercial office space and is involved tourism and hospitality ventures.
Over the years the McCloy Group has produced over 3,000 home sites and some 50,000m²+ of quality commercial space. We invite you to view a sample of our past projects and businesses.
